Chris completed his PhD from Michigan State University researching the conservation genetics of the endagered Mitchell's Satyr.  He then pursued a postdoc aimed at building genomic and bioinformatic skills working in Drosophila at the U of California, Davis.  He joined the Walters lab in summer 2014 to merge his interests in genomics,  Lepidoptera, and population genetics. Chris moved on from the lab in April 2016.
